GC Music — Retirement Notice Concepts

Three wording options for the announcement. Each one is shown twice — at true size, and dropped onto a real 16:9 capture of the gcmusic1.com home page so you can see how it sits in context. Nothing is live; his site is untouched. Tap OK, got it to see how the popup clears, then tap the red bar across the top of the frame to bring it back — that red bar is the permanent re-read link.

Same wording at true size, so Gary can read and mark up the copy.

Why this option — the thinking
How this gets built on the site (the two things Gary asked for)
  • 1 · A one-time popup. Shows the first time someone lands on the home page — they can't miss it, read it, hit OK — then it never pops up again on that device or browser. Done with a saved flag (gcRetirementSeen) that the Wix page checks on load, so it stays gone for them.
  • 2 · A permanent link to re-read it. The red bar across the top is always there (clicking it opens the notice again). It can also be added as a nav item — "Retirement Notice" — if Gary prefers it in the menu instead of a top bar.
  • The order pages themselves don't need to change — the "last orders November 30" note sits on the home page and above the order form, not inside the form (the forms are payment forms, so they stay untouched).
  • Nothing goes live until Gary approves the exact wording. Once he signs off, the popup and the top bar go up in the Wix editor.
